Empty Products #32

Time for another batch of empties today!
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – I love this cream and keep a tube around all the time. It is great for adding hydration and nourishment to dry or dehydrated skin and can be used on the face of body. I've already repurchased.
L'Occitane Peony Petal Cleansing Oil - I'm a huge fan of cleansing oils and basically haven't used another brand since trying oils from L'Occitane. This one was also very lovely – the scent was floral and sweet and the cleansing oil was very effective at removing makeup without clugging the skin. This one was part of their LE so it's probably not available anymore but all of their cleansing oils I've tried so far are worth checking out (I have a couple sample sized ones I need to use up before thinking about repurchasing).
COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All in one Cream - I really liked this product. The texture was thicker than what I’m used to from snail-based products and it was nicely moisturizing, plumping and healing for my skin, but it wasn’t absolutely amazing so I might shop around a bit before deciding to commit to another pot of this product.
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum - this was my first venture into trying a vitamin C serum and I loved it. It was gentle enough to not cause any irritations but effective enough that I started noticing the pigmentation on my cheeks noticeably fading after using it for about two weeks, while my skin still looks noticeably brighter and smoother. I wasn’t a big fan of the packaging because it started leaking after about a month, which makes me reluctant to repurchase the full size, but it’ll probably happen.
L'Occitane Gentle Toner Enriched with Shea - I was surprised by how much I liked this, especially the scent, which reminded me of the L'Occitane's classic shea butter line with a hint of floral, while the formula was nicely moisturizing and softening for my skin. I wouldn't reourchase.
Belief Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream - I really loved this product. The eye cream made a noticeable difference in reducing puffiness of my eyes and made the fine lines much less noticeable and more plump. I’ll try to repurchase this one, but I think it’s a much easier available in the US than Europe.
Afrodita Hydra Patch H2O Ampules - I used up one packaging of these moisturizing and anti-pollution ampules and the main effect I noticed was that they made my skin significantly softer, smoother and moisturized. The texture is quite thin and watery, something like an essence. The brand recommends repeating the usage about 3 times/year and I will definitely be repurchasing them and using them again.
Su:m37 Flawless Regenerating Eye Cream (samples x10) – I bought these samples after reading some rave reviews but ended up being dissapointed. This is mostly a decent moisturizing product, but did't notice it helping with my fine lines and helping to depuff my undereye area. I wouldn't get the full size. Do you have any eye cream recommendations?
Afrodita Cosmetics Why Mask 4D Collagen Sleeping Mask – I've mentioned this mask before and really like it. It is a little heavily scented but it makes my skin feel soft like nothing else when I wash it off in the morning. I've already repurchased more.
A'Pieu Deep Clean Foam Cleanser Moist – these samples lasted me for about 6 uses. My first impression of the cleanser was that the texture reminded me of the First Aid Beauty's Face Cleanser, but it turned out to be somewhat stripping and drying for the skin, making it feel tight after cleansing, so I wouldn't buy a full size or recommend it.
Lioele Waterdop Sleeping Pack - this was a lovely gel/cream sleeping pack and it made a real difference in reducing dry patches and adding hydration. It had a pleasant refreshing scent. I might get the full size.
Dr. Jart+ Vital Hydra Solution Deep Hydration Sheet Mask - this is one of my favourite sheet masks that really packs a punch, but since they're on the pricey side I try not to use them too often. The sheet isn't the perfectly sized, but the intensely hydrating effect it has more than makes up for it. I have more to use up, before having to repurchase.
ARJUNA Collagen Essence Mask – I received this mask as a gift with purchase when I ordered some other skincare items online. The fit of the mask was really off and it felt like a basic hydrating mask. I wouldn't buy it.
Afrodita Cosmetics Why Mask Extreme Hydration – this was a decent hydrating mask, nothing extreme about it. It came in two separate pouches and each contained enough product for 2-3 uses. I found that my skin was somewhat softer and smoother in the morning, but that was about it. The smell was fine, but not too noteable and the texture was quite creamy and felt like a slightly thicker moisturizer. I won't repurchase this one, but I remember liking different masks from the brand better.
Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream – this is a very nicely fragranced and hydrating hand cream that sinks in fast and doesn't have any greasiness behind. I loved the small size and kept it in my bag. This was a repurchase and I'll likely buy it again.
L’Occitane Arlesiene Velvet Hand Cream - I kept this hand cream in my handbag (the size makes it perfect to use on the go!) and really liked the lighter texture and floral (rose) scent. You really can’t go wrong with hand creams from L’Occitane and I have a couple more different ones to use up already before thinking of repurchasing.
Innisfree Aloe Revital Skin Mist - this was one of the loveliest and very refreshing facial mists I’ve used. It felt very calming on my skin and added softness and hydration. The fragrance is mild and the noozle dispenses a very fine amount of product. I’m totally repurchasing when I use up other mists I currently own.
L'Oreal Elselve Extraordinary Clay Purifying Shampoo – this was a repurchase and I love the way this product smells and really cleans my hair, without making it feel dry or 'too clean'. I will repurchase.
Bumble and bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil – Balm-to-oil Pre-shampoo Masque – this was a thicker balm that melted into a beautifully smooth and luxurious oil on my hair. I wore it for about 20 minutes as a mask and washed it off with shampoo and it left my hair incrediby smooth, easy to comb through and not weighted down at all. I liked it enough to be interested in trying it again, but won't preoccupy myself about repurchasing until I can get to a store that sells it.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mystic Black Mascara - one of my favourite discoveries from last year. This mascara is great at adding volume to the lashes and lasts really well. I have a back up and have also bought the European version to try out.
NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe - this brow product is definitely comparable to the Anastasia Beverly Hill's Brow Wiz just not as long lasting and I also used it up way way faster than any of my ABH's brow products. I wouldn't repurchase.
Maybelline Brow Precise Shaping Pencil in Blond – this was a decent brow product. The shade was a good match, but the pencil itself was really soft, so I again used it up really fast. I loved the spoolie and might keep it around for a while as a backup, but wouldn't repurchase the product itself.
Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Canvas - I bought this mini in the aisle of doom at Sephora and probably only used it like twice before it dried out/no more product was coming out. I remember the formula being slightly drying, but the shade was really pretty. I wouldn’t repurchase.
The Body Shop Honey-mania Lip Balm – this was a lovely product, very nutritious and hydrating for the lips, but I'm not a fan of potted lip products, so I wouldn't repurchase for that reason alone.

Have you tried any of the mentioned products before?
