IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream in Fair

I'm sure you've seen this product mentioned on many foreign youtube channels in the past. So have I, then got intrigued when I spotted it at Ulta and after trying a small sample I decided to get a full sized tube.

The It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream comes in an elongated tube with a pump and contains 32 ml of product. The pump works great at dispensing the needed amount of product and is also easily controlled in case you need just a drop or want to use more product. The tube is also HOLOgraphic which is another positive detail ;).
The brand's description of this 7-in-one CC Cream is akin to the second coming of Christ and promises to provide full, flawless coverage and sun protection wtih the added SPF 50+ UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen, brightening and color correction, hydration (snail secretion filtrate is the 2nd ingredient on the list), smoothing pore-less finish without using a primer, day time moisturizer and dark spot concealer. It claims to never crease or crack and instantly camouflage skin imperfections, including dark spots. It is also infused with an advanced anti-aging serum made of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins A, B, C and E, that work in harmony to diffuse the look of wrinkles, enhance skin brightness, minimize pores and give you a more radiant, supple and flawlessly looking complexion. This anti-aging hydrating formula was apparently developed with the help of plastic surgeons.
My skin is pretty oily and from my experience this would most certainly be better suited for someone with normal or normal-leaning-dry skin. It has a thicker texture and is available in a limited shade range (7 shades). I have the lightest one called Fair and I find it to be lighter that most foundations available in our market – even slightly too light for me, except in the winter time. The shade itself is fairly neutral, leaning slightly warm, which I really like. The thicker formula spreads onto the skin smoothly and provides medium coverage – if you have non problematic skin it could probably pass as full coverage, but I definitely have to use concealer over blemishes and undereyes; it does a good job at covering redness. It has a pleasant fresh citrusy scent. The finish it leaves on the skin is natural and turns very glowy on me fast, so I set it with powder which helps it stay in place a bit longer. The lasting power isn't the best, but its good for a CC cream – I notice fading at the 6 hour mark. As promised it doesn't crease, cling to dry patches, start looking cakey or crumbly on the skin nor feel drying or heavy. I like to apply it with a buffing brush, but fingers also work (I haven't tried using a sponge and I feel like it wouldn't provide enough coverage).
Since I've been finding it a little too glowy for my liking, I've been mixing it with the Covergirl BB Cream, which is darker and has a more matte finish, so this mix makes it more skin-like and the It Cosmetics CC Cream also lightens and neutralizes it, so it's not too dark or pink on me anymore.

Applied to my skin:
bare face -- one layer of IT cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC+ Cream in Fair -- added conceler, powder & bronzer on top
 Comparison swatches:
Overall it's a nice product, but not my favourite mainly because of the glowy finish – if you're into that and like medium coverage that doesn't look heavy on the skin you'd probably love it more than me. It would be my first pick if I only had to wear it for shorter amounts of time (4-5 hours). I've really liked using it during last fall and especially during winter months but will be staying far away once the summer heat rolls around to avoid looking like my face is melting away.
