Empty Products #31

Today I have another batch of empties ready to share, including some old favourites and also products I wasn't too impressed with.

Alverde Shower Gel with Litchi and Watermelon - this was a really nice lightly moisturizing shower gel with a pleasant fruity fresh scent. I would consider repurchasing but it was part of their LE so it’s likely not available anywhere.
L’Occitane Cerisier Pastel Shower Gel - this was a beautifully fragranced shower gel. It had a rich texture but the scent wasn’t the most long lasting. This LE is no longer available but L’Occitane rarely dissapoints with their fragranced shower gels, so I’ll definitely be stopping by there again.
The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Restoring Body Butter – first of all this body butter smells incredible, sweet and comforting, but not over the top, although it doesn't last super long on the skin. It makes the skin really soft and smooth. I've bought the body lotion with the same fragrance and it's a lot lighter and I don't like it as much. I have a long line of The Body Shop's Body Butters to use up, but this one would be the first in line when I decide to place another order.
The Body Shop Vanilla Chai & Frosted Plum Body Butters – these two products were both a part of their LE Holiday collection and smell lovely. Vanilla Chai smells like a sweet vanilla with some spices and I actually wish the fragrance was stronger (it’s pretty subtle) and Frosted Plum has a sweeter fruity smell that seems to linger on the skin for quite a while. I have full sizes of both already.
COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence - another old favourite. I love and use it every day and have repurchased numerous bottles so far and will keep doing so, until I discover something better.
True Island Honey Bee All Day Fixing Mist – this was a great mist, but I felt like I used it up super fast. The scent was lovely and the mist added enough hydration to make my skin soft and slightly plumper. I also really liked the noozle, which was dispensing the perfect amount of product. I might repurchase.
Etude House Pearl Mascara Remover - this was a decent dual phased makeup remover. It did a pretty good job with heavy eye makeup, but struggled a tiny bit when faced with waterproof mascaras. I wouldn’t repurchase.
L'Occitane Immortelle Essential Water x3 – I really liked this essence/mist, although the scent was on the strong side. It instantly made my skin feel softer, smoother and added hydration. I find it to be overpriced, so I wouldn't buy the full size, but wouldn't mind using more deluxe samples which sometimes come as GWP.
Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel - this has been my favourite SPF I’ve discovered so far. It is lightweight, effective and sinks in fast without leaving my skin looking like a greasy mess. I have the Watery Essence to use up and I’ll most likely repurchase one of the two.
MIZON Snail Recovery Gel Cream – another all time favourite. I always keep one tube around and find it especially beneficial for helping my skin heal from blemishes or calming down any other irritations. I've already repurchased.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – I love this cream and keep a tube around all the time. It is great for adding hydration and nourishment to dry or dehydrated skin and can be used on the face of body. I've already repurchased.
My Scheming Oolong Tea Oil Cut Mask – this sheet mask mostly felt hydrating for me and I didn't notice it having any effect on my blackheads. My redness was slightly reduced, there was plenty of essence left in the package and the fit wasn't the best. I won't repurchase.
My Scheming L-Ascorbic Acid Brightening Mask – this sheet mask was made out of thin and comfortable material, but it was oversized for me and at the same time the eye holes were to small, so the fit was a bit wonky. The essence was thin and watery, there was plenty of it inside the packaging, but I mainly just noticed it being hydrating and slightly brightening. I wouldn't repurchase.
My Scheming Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask - I liked this sheet mask and it made my skin appear slightly brighter, feeling softer and hydrated. The fit of the mask was off and there was plenty of essence left. I also wouldn’t repurchase.
L'Occitane Immortelle Oil Make-up Remover - this is my favourite cleansing oil. I love the texture, how well it removes makeup and how soft it leaves my skin. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent though. I have a larger mini to use up before thinking about repurchasing, but it's certainly worth it.
Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Mud Foam Cleanser – this was a thicker slightly grittier cleanser, one of those that makes your skin feel squeaky clean and tight, so I wouldn't repurchase.
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil - this was a decent cleansing oil with a slightly lighter texture than I’m used to. It removed my makeup well and had a pleasant fragrance. I wouldn’t repurchase.
Lancome Visionnaire Yeux Eye On Correction – I really liked this small sample of eye balm/cream. It instantly make my eyes look depuffed, but it felt very sillicon-y and contained small shimmery bits to help 'brighten' the area. I wouldn't repurchase.
Chanel Le Jour De Chanel, La Nuit de Chanel, Le Weekend de Chanel – I used up samples of these face creams and they were all decent enough. The day cream was lightweight (more like a serum) but felt very hydrating, the night one felt richer and more like a proper cream, with the weekend one feeling similar. I wouldn’t buy them based on these samples, but wouldn’t mind trying either of them again.
Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish – this was a decent hair spray, promising to add fullness and hold airy texture. It was semi effective on my hair, but didn't totally convience me. It smelled lovely, but I used it up way too fast. I wouldn't repurchase.
OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray – another hair product that could pass as a perfume, since it smells so good. I liked it more than the Oribe Texturizer, but it also didn't add just enough grip and texture to my unmanagable hair to justify repurchasing. BUT if it came in a kit with other product's I haven't used yet, I would totally want to use it again.

Have you tried any of the mentioned products before?
