Colourpop Aquarius Lippie Stix & Ultra Glossy Lip (Kathleen Lights Collab)

Although I love the look of matte lips they often feel too drying for me, so instead I prefer to reach for creamy or glossy products. Colourpop is a well know affordable brand with a large selection of makeup products and after trying out a couple products from them I know I'll be ordering more soon. Today I have two lip products ready for review, both from a collab of the brand with a youtuber Kathleen Lights, her Aquarius Lippie Stix and Ultra Glossy Lip.

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Aquarius comes in a slim pencil-like white packaging with a removable lid and contains 1 g of product. It has a smooth, very creamy formula with a slight sheen on the lips and the formula is enriched with nourishing shea butter and vitamin E. The product has a soft sweet vanilla smell which dissapears after being applied to the lips.

The shade is super pigmented and one swipe is opaque enough to cover the lips completely. Aquarius Lippie Stix is a nude beige shade, with a touch of rose. I don't find it to be drying nor particularly hydrating (it feels comfortable on the lips) and the lasting power is around the 4-hour mark. It transfers easily and doesn't hold up too well with eating. The shade is a great no-fuss everyday nude for me that goes nicely with pretty much any look, but if you have a darker complexion it could give you the 'concealer lips' look.
 Applied to the lips:

Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip in Aquarius comes in a slim tube with a small doe foot applicator. The tube is transparent so you can see the color of the product inside well, but I've been noticing that the writing on my tube has almost completely rubbed off already. There's 2,41 g of product inside and the formula is smooth, glossy, very comfortable and feels conditioning on the lips, without being thick, sticky of gloopy. It has a barely-there vanilla scent.
Ultra Glossy Lip in Aquarius has medium opacity and adds enough colour to the lips with one swipe, doesn't contain any glitter or shimmer and has a high glossy finish. Again it transfers easily, but manages to stay on the lips between 2-3 hours with drinking, but doesn't last too well with eating. The shade is a pinkier version of the Lippie Stix in Aquarius and it looks lovely applied on top, on it's own or over other nude lipsticks and is a great everyday shade that adds some colour and shine to the lips.

- Colourpop Lippie Stix in Aquarius,
- Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip  in Aquarius,
- Bourjois Rouge Edition in 04 Rose Tweed,
Overall I find both products to be well made and the shades also match me really well, which can be a hit or miss when ordering online. If you're a fan of comfortable lip product with a slight creamy or glossy finish you would probably like these two products as well, but if you prefer a matte finish there are also Ultra Satin Lip and Ultra Matte Lip products available under the same name and within the pinky-nude shade range. Coincidentally, I'm currently watching a TV series with the same title - Aquarius. Has anyone else seen it? I'm not particularly captivated by it, but it's fine to fall asleep to :P.
Colourpop products are available from their website and Sephora.
