As much havoc as a wrong skincare item can cause to your skin, the search feels that more rewarding when you discover a great product. By now you're probably all familiar with some korean skincare items (or at least the hype around them) and today I have another great find to share with you, the Mizon Hyaluronic Acid Ultra Suboon Cream.
Mizon Hyaluronic Acid Ultra Suboon Cream comes in a simple plastic blue tube and contains 45 ml of product. I always love products packaged like this, because they're easy to travel with and aren't as prone to air exposure and unwanted bacteria. The product is white colored and feels more like a watery gel-cream hybrid, which is very lightweight and easily spreadable (it feels a bit slippy thanks to the silicones inside). It sinks into the skin quickly, while leaving the skin comfortably soft and moisturized. It leaves a slight layer behind for a couple of minutes, but then sinks in completely and leaves a natural satin finish on the skin. When you first apply it there is a slight fresh scent present, but it dissipates within a minute as the product gets absorbed into the skin.
I've been using it for good two months or even more and really like it. It leaves the skin soft to the touch, plump and moisturized, without irritating it or being greasy. A little goes a long way and I don't use more than a pea-sized amount on any occasion. It feels very comforting and refreshing, like a glass of water, for parched dehydrated skin. I've been upping my acid game and this product has been lovely at preventing too many dry patches and never burns or feels uncomfortable if I apply it onto irritated skin. I wish it would also have some sebum controlling properties, which would make it a great daily companion for the upcoming summer, but as Caroline Hirons says I'll be matte when I'm dead, so I'm trying to embrace the glow, without worrying too much.

This moisturizer is also pretty affordable and I could see it working as a basic step for normal or even dry skin, as long as you layer it with something else. I've purchased mine from here.
