I use setting powder everytime I wear makeup and go through them quite quickly. I've been using the Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Waterproof Powder for the past couple of months and quite like it.
Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Waterproof Powder comes in one shade and claims to be suitable for all skin tones. It is housed in a black compact that closes safely with a click and also comes with a decent sized mirror inside. There is 9g of product inside the compact which is made in Italy. The packaging is very travel-friendly while the product inside isn't too soft that it would shatter or break, even if you're not super gentle with handling it.
The powder itself has a slight pink undertone when you look at it in the compact, but translates as transparent once applied to the skin. I'm glad to report that it doesn't add any color to my skin when I apply it. It looks surprisingly natural and smoothing on the skin and sets the makeup well. I wouldn't call it the most long lasting, but I still get decent 6 (or a bit more - depending on the foundation I choose to wear) hours of shine-free wear. At this point I would use some blotting paper and lightly dust some more powder on the t-zone and cheeks, which gives me a peace of mind for a couple more hours. With building yo more product it doesn't get the cakey look to the skin.
For the price I find it to be a very decent setting powder, which doesn't break me out (unlike a lot of people's favourite from the drugstore Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder). As far as the waterproof claim goes, I'm not sure if it really delivers on this promise, but for the price I don't really mind. I often find that drugstore setting powders are more than decent and you really don't have to spend a ton of money on higher end versions. This one is available at Catrice stands in most drugstores and here online.
