Although I've mostly switched to using chemical exfoliants and facial cloths to take care of exfoliation I still like to use a normal scrub about once weekly, especially before applying deep cleansing masks. I've been using the Jason Brightening Apricot Scrubble for the longest time and I really like how gentle but still effective it is.
Jason Brightening Apricot Scrubble comes in a pretty standard packaging for a cleanser or scrub, a plastic squeezy tube. There is 113 g of product inside and it is made with apricot oil and walnut powder which exfoliate and help polish the skin. Jason is a natural brand of cosmetics and their products are formulated without parabens, sls or phthalates. On the packaging it says that the scrub is gentle enough to be used everyday, but I think that would be overkill for the skin, especially if it's sensitive or acne prone.
The scrub has a really nice and subtle apricot scent and the texture is creamy and on the thicker side. Exfoliating particles inside are about medium sized, but they're still gentle on the skin as long as you don't apply too much pressure while you're massaging the product on the skin. I usually use about a hazelnut-sized amount and it's more than enough. The scrub easily washes off, without leaving any residue, but leaves the skin much smoother to the touch and adds a bit of glow.
I really this this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to add a simple but effective scrub into their skincare regime. Available here.
