As the warmer days get closer and closer my favourite skin care items become mists. I've repurchased the Caudalie Grape Water Mist a couple times before and have been using my latest one for about a month, so it's only fair it gets its own review.
The Caudalie Grape Water Toner Mist comes in a spray can in two different sizes, 75 ml or 200 ml. The nozzle dispenses the finest mist and so far I've used up all bottles without the nozzle breaking which was always happening with the Avene Eau Thermale Mists while I still had about half of the product left inside. Grape Water Mist is fragrance free, made from organic grapes and soothes, calms, reduces redness, refreshes and moisturizes the skin. It is suitable for sensitive skin but would work well with any skin type, but drier ones would probably find it to not be quite moisturizing enough. My oily skin loves it.
I've been using it in the toner stage in my both morning and night skincare routines. I spray it onto the face and neck after cleansing and then gently pat it for better absorption and apply a serum while the skin is still slightly moist. Because the mist is so fine it can also be sprayed over makeup if you need a boost of hydration and refreshment during a hot summer day, without fear that it would mess up your foundation or mascara. The smaller size is more travel friendly and can easily be taken with you on long-haul flights that can be really drying for the skin or keep it in the purse/beach bag for a quick refreshment or a little pick me up.
Compared to Beauty Elixir, which is a more well known mist from Caudalie, this one is a lot more calming and is less likely to irritate the skin, because it doesn't contain alcohol. One of the things I really like about the Beauty Elixir is its refreshing spa-like fragrance, which the Grape water doesn't have.
