Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealers come in a pretty standard packaging for a concealer, a transparent plastic tube with a black lid and contain 5 ml of product. There is a doe foot wand applicator for ease of use. The product has a weird slightly chemical-fruity scent, which isn't too noticeable as you're applying it onto the skin. It has a thicker and creamy consistency (but doesn't feel heavy), that dries to a matte finish.
As soon as you apply this concealer to the skin it oxidizes, but don't let that scare you if you swatch it at the store, because once you start blending it in (using a sponge or fingers seems to do the best job) it gets half a shade/shade lighter again. The shade 005 Light Natural is a pretty nice match for me at the moment, and I can use it both on blemishes as well as the under eye area (where it can crease and look a bit aging, depending on the powder I set it with). I would prefer if this shade was slightly more neutral and less warm, but I can make it work. I can already see that I will love this product in the summer as a highlighting concealer. It has a medium, but buildable coverage, just make sure to work in thin layers so it doesn't cake up (it usually needs two thin layers for covering blemishes). The lasting power is ok, by the end of the day concealer is still there, but the under eye area can look a bit dry when I use it (it also depends on the eye cream or use, or forget to use that day).
- Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer in 005 Light Natural,
I've liked their previous versions a lot and I'm really glad they decided to come up with another lighter shade which I can use now in the winter time. These concealers have a really nice formula, longevity and coverage for the price and are well worth checking out, as long as you find a matching shade - there are three currently available: Light Natural, Porcellain and Light Beige.
