Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer

Ever since I've started learning more about skin care I've been on the search for the *perfect* moisturizer. With my sensitive, oily and acne prone skin this has not been as easy task. In the past three years I've repurchased the Mixa 24h Moisturising Balancing Cream several times, but then decided to try something new, so I got the Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer.

John Frieda Beach Blonde Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo & Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner

This spring I decided to switch up my haircare routine from using Redken Extreme line to something 'lighter' for my hair. With all the hype earlier this year about John Frieda reissuing their Beach Blonde Sea Salt Spray I decided to try the entire line - shampoo, conditioner, mask and sea salt spray. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts about the Beach Blonde Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo & Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner.

Emma Hardie Cleansing Cloths

If you're a fan of cleansing oils and/or balms you need these Emma Hardie Cleansing Cloths in your life. Removing make up with a cleansing oil is really effective but ever since I've started adding these into the process it also got a lot quicker.

Summer Tan Part 1: Gradual Self-Tanners

By now, I’m sure we’re all at least somewhat aware of the danger sun exposure can have on our skin. Instead of baking outside in the sun to get the desired bronzed complexion a smarter choice is opting for self-tanners or gradual self-tanners. If you’re new to this, opting for gradual self-tanners is probably a better choice - they gradually add color to your skin (or extend the lasting power of  your tan) and are generally fool-proof to use. Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts and experiences from using four different gradual self-tanners with different price points: Garnier, Dove, Melvita and Palmer’s (not pictured above).

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Nude Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I've already mentioned this palette twice (here & here) so it's about time it gets it's own review. I've been getting into The Balm recently and really like the quality of everything I've tried so far. They also have quirky and vintage packaging that I really like.

Empty Products June (#6)

Today I have another batch of empty products to share. Since I started writing these posts I'm actually surprised at the amount of things I use up in time to write a post each month/month and a half.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Micellar Water

Everyone that has ever used Bioderma's Micellar Water undoubtedly has their Micellar Water standards and expectations set pretty high. I've recently run out of another bottle and have decided to try a few new ones to see if I can find something similar in terms of how effective (& gentle) it is at removing make up and impurities from the skin. The first one I decided to give a go was the Purifying Micellar Water from La Roche-Posay.

Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising Mascara

Max Factor recently came out with a new mascara which is supposed to be an all-in-one product that will add volume, length and color intensity to your lashes. I'm a huge fan of their 2000 Calorie Mascara, so I was excited to give this one a try.

May Favourites

Seriously, where is this year going? Last year around this time I was imagining my life to be completely different from what it's currently turning out to be, but yeah, you can't always control everything. On a more positive note - let's have a look at what I've been loving this month.
