Isabel Marant Etoile SS13 Wishlist

A few days ago I came across some photos from the Isabel Marant Etoile spring/summer 2013 collection and below you can find some of my favorite pieces that I would love to add to my closet :).
You can view & read more in my last posts about her main line that was presented on the runway here & here.

Isabel Marant Dicket Suede Boots

Isabel Marant Bobby Sneakers (I've been after these for this season already, but they were sold out too soon)

Cord pants with sewn in colorful stars

Fitted denim jacket

Lovely tunic dress - this was the first item that stuck in my mind after I saw it.

A similar top in grey color.

A parka jacket/coat that is a perfect alternative for a more elegant trench.

Cardigan/jacket.

Can't wait for this items to get it the stores :)

PFW - Chanel

The epitome of ladylike and French elegance - Chanel - does something special every season. Karl Lagerfeld has turned the brand into one of the best known (and copied) fashion brands in the world. Everyone knows their perfume N'5 and their Flap 2,55 Bag is surely on the wish list of every handbag lover. Their make up collections are also stunning every season and often it's hard to locate some of the items, despite of their prices.
As from the collection for spring/summer itself - let the pictures speak for themselves.

PFW - Céline, Kenzo & Vanessa Bruno

Céline: staying classic and classy with the clothes, but the shoes were a bit on the weird side - come on, who is going to wear sandals with fur and heels with printed red nails? The bags, however, were another hit and I would love to have a Céline trio or this rolled leather 'paper bag'. Love at first sight.

Kenzo got back on the fashion map the past season when they introduced a great collection with statement sweaters for fall and winter and after what they've showed this time we can only be excited for more from them.

Vanessa Bruno makes very feminine & chic clothing but with an edge.. Some of her designs are a little reminiscent of Isabel Marant and this looks also had a little Chloé blood in them.

PFW - Balmain

Stunning jackets and jeans have been a Balmain staple piece. They always make a masculine look so feminine, it's almost paradoxal.

PFW - Isabel Marant & Paul&Joe

Isabel Marant's style is a match made in heaven for me. Her items get sold out on a regular basis - for example wedge sneakers, dicker boots and special jackets. It's perfect for everyday style and can look very casual or dressy, depending on the way you combine it. This collection was inspired by Hawaii and Elvis and some of the pieces are simply to-die-for. I've posted a part of my opinion about the collection before, you can read more about it here.

Paul&Joe is another casual and really cool brand. Floral prints are perfect for spring/summer and this collection makes me want almost every look above.

PFW - Balenciaga

I was very surprised when earlier this week I heard about Nicolas Ghesquière leaving Balenciaga at the end of November. His collections very always modern and revolutionist for the fashion world. Many of his designs have been redone by different brands (you should google the 'Balenciaga did it first' tumblr) and he made Balenciaga visible in the fashion world again, especially thanks to his Motorcycle bags that have become a staple bag in many closets around the world.

Below you can find some of the looks he created for the next spring/summer 2013 collection that was his last for Balenciaga, but I'm looking forward to his future work for some other brand or maybe even his own label.

PFW - Alexander McQueen & Givenchy

Alexander McQueen - since Sarah Burton became the head designer for McQueen the clothes have changed a lot and became much more commercially friendly. They don't stand out as much as they used to, but the shoes and details are still stunning and visually perfected. One of the main things that have have my attention from Alexander McQueen are the skull clutches and scarves. I hope I'll finally be able to add a clutch to my collection for next season.

Givenchy presented a collection filled with basic colored clothes, that appeared quite dark and gothic with details that made them stand out. One of my favorite items were the shoes that looked very modern and futuristic.
